TEACHING AND LEARNING ACTIVITY MEETING IN MATARO, SPAIN
During the week November 25th to December 1st, the Germanes Bertomeu of Mataró school organized an Erasmus+ Transnational Learning and Teaching activity. The school has received about thirty children, adolescents and teachers from Bulgaria, Hungary, Greece, Italy and Cyprus. The aim of the Spanish meeting was to meet the objective of the programme that is to promote peace, equal opportunities, coexistence and cooperation.
Thus, during the whole week, several activities were carried out to develop the objectives of the programme, some dedicated to publicizing cultural heritage and others considered as tools that foster personal growth and coexistence.
For example, a guided tour in the historic centre of Mataró was carried out; the Christmas tradition was shown to crush the Tió and the Parliament of Catalonia was also visited with institutional welcome from President Roger Torrent.
Several workshops were also held, among which, the yoga session that was highlighted by a person with a visual impairment, as a discipline of self-reliance and personal growth; the castles workshop run by members of the Colla Castellera dels Capgrossos; the 4cordes musical workshop, with a final concert included; the circus workshop with a final show by Cronopis; the sewing workshop by a group of school mothers and the robotic workshop.
Therefore, cooperative work has been demonstrated as a tool for the relationship between peers and adults, where everyone participates in developing a role, enforcing their potential and enriching themselves.
